Josefine Israel

Born in 1991 in Frankfurt/Oder. From 2005 to 2012 she performed at p14, the youth theatre of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, where she also worked with Dimiter Gotscheff, among others. After graduating from high school, she began studying acting at the University of the Arts in Berlin, which she completed in 2016. During her studies she performed several times at the bat Studiotheater in Berlin and at the Deutsches SchauSpielHaus Hamburg in the production "Wassa Schelesnowa". In 2015 she received a solo prize at the Treffen deutschsprachiger Schauspielstudierender. In 2020 she received the Boy Gobert Prize of the Körber Foundation.

She has been part of the ensemble of the Deutsches SchauSpielHaus since the 2015/16 season.
